What do I need to
wear when I attend
Media
Mastery Exclusive Weekend?
A. It's
comfortable clothing, or if you prefer business
casual attire during the event. Wear comfortable
clothes to enhance your learning
experiences. However, you will need to have your
Business Suit, dress, or Skirt with you for your
television interview sessions.
Q:
What’s type of training facility do you hold the
event in?
A: Media
Mastery events are held in a state of the art
television and radio studio facility. It holds
three different radio studios, a television control
room, editing bay, an on-camera set area, an area
for press photos to be taken, a hair/makeup studio
area and a full classroom for group and one-on-one
instruction.
Q: What are
the hours of the event?
A: Media
Mastery sessions usually run from 9am to 7pm
Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday. It is possible that
the Sunday session may end slightly early to
accommodate attendees who are flying out Sunday
evening. There will be breaks throughout the day,
and time will be allotted for lunch, checking
messages, etc.
Q: Which
airport should I fly into/out of when I attend?
A:
Reagan National Airport (DCA) is just ¼ of a mile
from the studio facility (the address of the studio
is 2100 Crystal Drive Arlington VA). It is one
Metro stop away from the studio, or a short walk.
Dulles International Airport (IAD) is about 30
minutes from the studio facility, and
Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) is
about 60 minutes from the studio facility.
Q: Do I need
to rent a car?
A: No.
There are many restaurants, shopping areas, etc. all
within walking distance of the studio facility,
including the Crystal City Shops, an upscale
underground mall. Metro access to downtown
Washington, DC is easily accessible, as are taxis.
And, if you fly into one of the other airports
(Dulles or BWI) our Media Mastery staff can assist
you with how to get to the Crystal City/Arlington
area easily and economically.
Q: What
hotels would you suggest?
A: Any
of the hotels in the Crystal City neighborhood of
Arlington are within an easy walk of the studio
facility, and most supply free shuttle service to
and from Reagan National Airport. Hotels in the
